A woman walks backwards in the forest. The surroundings change but the woman carries on walking. Eventually she wakes up, but always in a different place. Again and again. Always in a different place. Never from her home.
Forest cover is a phenomenon found in Finnish folklore. It was used to describe people who went missing in nature for unexplained reasons. It was believed that you could escape from this state by walking backwards, following your footsteps. Some people were thought to be forever lost inside the woods.
